From our friends at Alderson’s this Smoky Morepork BBQ sauce is the all-natural and family-friendly condiment. It works wonders on beef, pork, chicken, pizza and roasted vegetables and will put some seared sizzle into your bland nibbles.

Morepork is a nice natural take on a sauce that is traditionally packed full of cheap sweeteners, thickeners and liquid smoke. In this sauce, we’ve used natural and unrefined sweeteners, fresh onion and garlic and we’ve smoked our onions in Manuka to give a natural smoke flavour. It tastes like a real bbq sauce should!

This was an awful marinade. I like to try and experience lots of different marinades as we have a lot of charcoal and gas BBQs, we always let the sauce/marinade sit on the meat for over 24 hours so it gets a good chance to flavour. This was a ruination of meat as it was so bad we just couldn't keep eating the meat it was on.
