This is another platter staple. With the sweetness of cherries, the added citrus & apple juice with a little heat, it’s delicious. Add to any soft cheese, a cracker & viola! It’s also nice with ham & mayo. It could also be used as a glaze on white meat, if cooked slowly.
A proper caramelized Red Onion Relish- it's broiled, infused and slowly cooked to achieve optimal flavour and caramelisation over 2 days. A delicious accompaniment for your hot dogs, steak sandwiches or steak dinner. Many uses, and it has very low sugar.
This is an original by Mrs Pickles. It has a lovely flavour and a decent amount of heat. There is a local Southland restaurant who use in their steak sandwich. It a definite pantry staple if you love heat with flavour. A Mr Pickles favourite.
